1. Read the introduction in the Independent- below, you should be able to complete this course
successfully. As you complete each chapter, mark
Study Textbook (IST) to learn how to use the IST.

3. Pace yourself so you will study at least two or
three times each week. Plan carefully so you
can complete the course within the allowed
enrollment period. Complete at least one
lesson each study session.
4. Read Scripture references in more than one
translation of the Bible for better understanding.
5. Underline, mark, and write notes in your IST.
6. Use a notebook to write additional notes and
comments.
7. As you work through each chapter, make
good use of reference tools, such as a study
Bible, a comprehensive concordance, a Bible
dictionary, and an English dictionary.
8. Complete all interactive questions and learning
activities as you go.
9. In preparation for the Test Yourself, review the
objectives for each lesson in the chapter and
your notes and highlights to reinforce the key
principles learned in the chapter.
10. Discuss with others what you are learning.
11. Apply what you have learned in your spiritual
life and ministry.
