                     5.  The mentor must commit to the time required to provide an effective experience for the student for each
                        course. This will involve regular meetings with the student, including sufficient time for monitoring
                        the student’s progress. Where multiple students are studying the courses in study centers, some of these
                        meetings may be group meetings while others will be on an individual basis. (The mentor’s commitment
                        also includes completing and submitting the final evaluation form.)
                  Course Objectives
                  After completion of this course, the student will be able to
                     1.  Demonstrate understanding of and establish a strategy for developing three attributes of the heart of ministry.
                     2.  Perform a wedding ceremony, hospital visit, and funeral service.
                     3.  Explain the concepts and develop strategies for becoming a servant leader, managing the expectations of
                        others, and identifying and using ministry gifts.
                     4.  Implement an effective plan for personal devotions.
                     5.  Explain and implement strategies for nurturing marriage and family life in the ministry.
