The Middle Ages

In some ways, missionaries of the Middle Ages are to be commended.
One needs to remember there was a lack of modern medicine, and
living conditions were primitive and difficult. For their sincere efforts
to establish Christianity, we are thankful. On the other hand, the kind
of Christianity taken to Africa by the missionaries of the Middle Ages
was not what was intended by the Lord of the church because it was
neither biblically correct nor was it Pentecostal and missional in faith
                    and practice.
