Pronouncement

Since (groom’s name) and (bride’s name) have committed themselves to one another in marriage, and have
done so before God and their family and friends, and have given and pledged their love, each to the other, by
the authority committed to me as a minister of the gospel, I declare that (groom’s name) and (bride’s name) are
husband and wife, according to the ordinances of God and the laws of this state.
(Groom’s name) and (bride’s name), you are no longer two independent persons, but one. Those whom God
has joined together, let no man separate. Let us pray.
