About the Author

Denzil R. Miller is director of the Acts in Africa Initiative, a ministry
aimed at bringing Pentecostal renewal to the African church. In addition to
this book, Dr. Miller has written several others. One of those books, Power
Ministry: How to Minister in the Spirit’s Power, is also a part of the Africa’s
Hope Discovery Series. He and his wife Sandy have served as Assemblies
of God missionaries to Africa since 1992. Before becoming missionaries,
the Millers pastored 22 years in Texas and Colorado. He received his
M.A. in communications from Stephen F. Austin State University in
Nacogdoches, Texas (1984) and his D.Min. from the Assemblies of God
Theological Seminary in Springfield, Missouri (2005).

Course Development

A publications team operates under the direction of the Africa’s Hope
Curriculum Committee. Members of the team include Dr. Carl Gibbs,
Tim Lord, Julia Lowenberg, Jared Lee, Rachel Mullikin, Sarah Simmons,
Shauna Price, and Richard Schoonover. Mark Turney reviewed the book
for theological content.
