                    beatitudes                  any of the declarations made in the Sermon
                                                on the Mount (Matthew 5:3–11)

                    charismatic                 relating to spiritual gifts

                    constitution                a legal document that lays down the basic
                                                rules and principles governing life in an
                                                earthly kingdom

                    covenant                    a solemn contract between two or more
                                                individuals. It describes the terms of their
                                                relationship with one another. A theocratic
                                                covenant is between God and humanity.

                    directive                   an authoritative statement meant to give
                                                direction on how one might best live his
                                                or her life

                    dispensations               different eras of sacred history

                    duration                    the time during which something

                    eschatology                 the study of end times
