od, by virtue of creation, is sovereign ruler of the universe. His will
is for all people of all nations to know and serve Him. In previous
Gchapters, we stated that the purpose of the kingdom of God is to
fulfill the mission of God, that is, to proclaim the gospel of the Kingdom
to all nations before Jesus comes again.

In this chapter, we will review some of the things we have explored in
previous chapters. We will do this in order to highlight how the kingdom
of God relates to God’s mission to redeem the nations. In doing this, we
will discuss in a bit more detail the relationship between the kingdom of
God and global missions. We will address three issues:

• The global mission of the Kingdom.
• The gospel of the Kingdom and the Great Commission.
• Proclaiming the gospel to the nations.
