A History of the Church in Africa
• They focus on growth rather than maintenance.
• They depend on and expect the miraculous.
• They focus their resources on ministry rather than buildings.
Let Africa continue to focus on these important matters until the task
has been completed: “the task of testifying to the gospel of God’s grace”
(Acts 20:24).
God sees the triumphant church as His agent on earth. “The end is
near!” is more than a slogan. Like the early church, may we respond with
Maranatha! (The Lord is coming!). And may we be obedient to the end!
